About our faux wood blinds

Windows of Opportunity offers one the highest quality faux wood blinds. Slats tested and passed 500 hours of harsh UV conditions against yellowing. Sonoma faux contains titanium oxide for stability and rigidity.

You will not have to worry about warping or cracking.

     Our faux wood blinds are great for providing needed privacy to your home or your office windows, as they are able to easily block out sun light. In addition to blocking out sunlight and providing unprecedented privacy to your home or office windows, faux wood blinds offer a very warm feeling because they work and feel very much like actual wood blinds. Faux wood blinds   are a very economical choice if you would like to add a natural feeling to your home or office  because they do not cost as much as wood blinds, but offer most, if not all, of the very same benefits of wood blinds.

     Faux wood blinds can be purchased with either 2 inch slats or 2 1/2 inch slats. The larger the window in your home or office, the larger the faux wood blind slats should be.

    Head rail information

• Head rail is a 2" high profile 42 gauge cold rolled steel.
  Why is that important? It takes an average of 20 lbs of pull to raise the average blind. This puts 20 lbs of pressure on the head rail which could fail if it is not the right component.
• The off-set gears in our patented tilter allows for tighter closure on blinds 72 inches in length and Wood tassels - few offer wood tassels at this price.
• Upgraded pulley style cord lock which decreases incidence of lock failure.

     Valance

·        We offer a crown valance with all of our faux wood blinds.

·        The valance has ½" returns which creates a beautiful finished look.

·        The valance clips raises the valance ½" in order to cover the light gap between the blind and the top of the window.

     3. Nine whites in 2" slats

     4. Six stain in 2" slats

     5. Three whites in 2 1/2"

Please note that our sale blind only comes in 2" slat and in two colors white and off white. If you want a better match then white and off white, please set up an appointment for a free in home consultation. Our designers will bring out all the colors slats, and we help in selecting the perfect match.

    Blind repairs

    Have a blind that has ran out of warranty and needs a slat replaced? A tilter is not working or you can not lift the blind? Bring it in and we will repair any blind.

    Warranty

    Our blinds have a one year manufactures warranty against warping, UV damage, and all component integrity.

    Limited lifetime warranty against the integrity of the components.
